Project Overview
Camden Hill began as a dark, unused probate property with dated interiors and a layout that no longer served modern living. Presence & Co. were instructed to take the home through a complete transformation, preserving its original charm while fully modernising the space for contemporary family life.
Across an eight-month renovation, completed in November 2025, our team reimagined every corner of the property. From marble flooring and herringbone timber to the restored staircase and newly landscaped gardens, the home has been rebuilt with longevity, warmth, and everyday practicality in mind.
Our Role
Presence & Co. managed the entire renovation from concept through to completion, acting as a single, seamless point of contact for the project ensuring the build remained on schedule and true to the client brief.
Our involvement included:
- Full project management, coordinating trades and timelines.
- Managing all electrics, plumbing, carpentry, decorating and flooring.
- Upcycling and restoring original features, including the staircase.
- Sourcing and installing all fixtures and finishes, from marble flooring to carpets.
- Garden and driveway redesign, including landscaping and driveway extension.
- Ongoing communication with the client, offering clear updates at each stage.
- Problem-solving as the project evolved, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality finish.
Design & Build
- Complete Interior Renovation – Dark, heavy interiors were replaced with modern, bright spaces featuring marble flooring, herringbone wood, and soft grey carpets upstairs.
- Restored Original Features – Key heritage details, including the staircase, were carefully upcycled to preserve the home’s character.
- Modern Fixtures Throughout – Every room benefits from updated, long-lasting fixtures and fittings.
- Open, Light Living Spaces – The layout was restructured to maximise natural light and create a more functional flow.
- Extensive Landscaping – The rear garden was completely redesigned, creating a large family-friendly space beside a popular local school.
- Expanded Driveway – The front drive was extended to increase parking capacity, with space to add a carport if desired.
