Joanne began her career as an administrator across a variety of industries including construction, fleet management, vehicle repairs, finance, and higher education, gaining a broad understanding of workplace operations and compliance along the way.
She has also run her own business as a mobile nail technician, holding qualifications in beauty therapy, massage therapy, aromatherapy, and anatomy & physiology, bringing both creativity and meticulous attention to detail to everything she does.
Joanne is no stranger to Health and Safety. She spent 18 years at Sheffield Hallam University, supporting the Senior Management Team, working closely with the Head of Health and Safety, and serving as Secretary for the Health and Safety Committee.
Now, as Health, Safety & Environment Assistant at Presence & Co., Joanne supports workplace safety initiatives and compliance across all sites, helping embed a proactive culture of safety. Her diverse experience, dedication, and eye for detail make her a valued member of the Health and Safety Team, contributing to operational excellence across the business.
